AICS awarded the third round of certificates to
CSOs in an event participated by the
government, donors, the private sector, media
and CSos representative at Park Star Hotel on
December 28, 2016.
Nai- Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan,
People’s Action for Change Organization (PACo),
and Organization for Human Welfare (OHW) are
the CSOs that successfully passed the
certification program.

AICS launched the first publication of the
State of the Enabling Environment for CSOs
in Afghanistan report during the joint event at
Kabul Serena Hotel on September 28, 2016.
It will be an annual study that identifies
critical challenges, needs, and opportunities
for civil society. Through examining the legal,
socio-cultural, governance and financial
environment, this study will contribute to
informing advocacy effor

Empowerment Organization (Nangarhar), Industrial and
Social Services Organization (Takhar), Women and Youths
for Peace and Development Organization (Kunduz),
Cooperation for Social Improvement Organization
(Baghlan), Afghan Landmine Survivors’ Organization
(Kabul), Organization for Social Support for Women and
Children (Baghlan), Organization for Better Tomorrow in
Afghanistan (Bamyan), and Organization for Research and
Skills Training for Women (Nangarhar) participated in this
visit. On the first day, the objectives of this visit was
shared with the participants.
