Organization for Research and Community Development (ORCD) – a certified CSO of AICS – has been making the difference in the lives of the local Afghan communities since its inception in 2011. Passing thought various phases of institutional history of over six years, the organization has implemented a variety of community development projects in field of education,
health, rural development, women empowerment and agriculture.

Sanayee Development Organizations
Sanayee Development Organization (SDO) is known for its cross‐cutting programs for the down‐trodden segment of the society since its inception in 1990. The organization has been instrumental in conceptualizing, designing and implementing programs/projects tailored specifically to the needs of the target communities.
In an orientation session held by AICS in early 2016, SDO found about AICS Certificate, and applied for it in mid‐2016, and received the certification in September
2016. “This certificate could enhance effectiveness and efficiency of our activities, internal structure and external relations,” said Abid Humayun, Program Director to
SDO. Before SDO’s assessment for certification, its operations were mainly concen‐
trated in five provinces i.e. Farah, Ghor, Zabul, Nangarhar, and Laghman.

Tashabos Educational Organization (TEO)
Tashabos Education Organization may in first encounter seem a business entity, as
its name, Tashabos meaning enterprise in Dari, catches attention. But it is not a
business organization, it is first an organization to support education in business
and then supporting small enterprises. This organization has been leading in devel‐
oping business knowledge of high school students and building business capacity
of newly established small business. Also, it is finding markets for the products of
the beneficiaries.

Afghan CSO Expands Coverage Area Following Certification
Established in 2007 in Kabul, Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) has
proved a speedy pace in delivering diversified services to different provinces of Afghanistan. Since implementing its first project in 2008, its activities have increased in scope to cover peace-building, conflict resolution,
advocacy, research and capacity development at the community level.
